Responsibilities:

• Involved in the entire systems development life cycle that is adhering to essential phases such as planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of new and existing systems or applications
• Assesses the business requirements of an organization by creating a feasibility study, proof of concept, or system proposal that is achieved through research, evaluation, information gathering, and analysis
• Creates design patterns, business rules, and process diagrams to produce design elements that can support system and project requirements
• Develops new systems or improves existing applications using several programming tools and technologies to meet organizational needs
• Performs manual or automated testing of software to find defects, validate and verify its quality, mitigate risks, and manage its release
• Delivers documentation, reports, visuals, and presentations in order to summarize research results and communicates information to stakeholders
• Handles individual project tasks and deliverables independently
• Fulfills customer or client requests within the expected timeline
• Participates in company initiatives related to organizational development

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any similar technical field of study
• Software engineering experience in one or more programming languages including but not limited to: Java, RPG, C/C++, Python, JavaScript
• Web application development experience using scripting technologies such as HTML, CSS, Ajax, AngularJS, jQuery
• Manual or automated testing experience in one or more test automation tools including but not limited to: Selenium, AutoIt, Sikuli
• Exposure to Agile and V-Model systems development methodologies
• Solid passion to innovate, discover new things, and solve problems creatively
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong desire to work in a Japanese company
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English; knowledge in Nihongo is a plus
• Willing to work in Makati
